Digital Design

This program offers a broad foundation of knowledge and skills to prepare students for employment in digital publishing positions. The content includes enhanced practical experiences in computer generated art and text, graphic design, graphic production, electronic design skills, preparation of electronic layouts and illustrations, and electronic scanning and development of skills in multimedia presentation. The program stresses understanding and demonstration of the following elements of the digital publishing industry: planning, management, finance, technical and production skills; underlying principles of technology and design.  This program is eligible for articulated college credit.*

Program Mission

The mission of this program is to provide students with the positive life habits and business skills needed to succeed in the digital desktop publishing and graphic design industry. Students will gain the technical expertise to create a wide variety of graphic and publishing materials.
