Digital Design

The Digital Design program offers a broad foundation of knowledge and skills to prepare students for employment in digital publishing and graphic design positions. The competency-based program stresses understanding and demonstration of graphic design tools and theories including: page layout and design, digital publishing, digital image creation, digital illustration, web design, video and photography productions. Students will also develop and refine the business skills and positive life habits needed to succeed in the modern workplace. The Digital Design program is competency-based and consists of 5 occupational completion points; each of which requires the student to meet state standards.

Program Mission

The mission of the Digital Design program at TECO is to prepare students for employment or advanced studies in the graphic design field. The program focuses on the technical expertise and knowledge required in the workplace for page layout design, digital image creation & manipulation, digital illustration, video editing and web design.
