The Medical Assisting program is designed to prepare students for employment as a Medical Assistant working both in the front and back office. Upon completion of the program, you can gain certification as a Medical Assistant, Phlebotomist, EKG Technician and Basic X-Ray Machine Operator. Program Mission

The mission of this program is to prepare students for employment as registered medical assistants in doctor's offices, outpatient centers and ambulatory clinics.

**Please be advised that Part-time sessions are mostly offered to Dual enrollment students only, in selected campuses. Adults interested in part-time session, must call the office to verify availability. Part-time sessions are NOT available at St. Cloud Campus.

Estimated program cost $5,961 in tuition, lab fees, certifications, and other fees.

Laboratory Procedures - 125 hours
Administrative Office Procedures - 90 hours
Practicum Experience - 200 hours
Successful completion of an OCP may qualify a student for employment.
