The medical coder and biller program is designed to prepare students in medical office administrative tasks which includes filing of insurance claims and counseling patients regarding third party reimbursement and plan benefits. You will also be proficient in coding for procedures and diagnoses of patients in the outpatient setting. This program is competency based and is eligible for college credit.*

Program Mission

The mission of this program is to prepare students for employment as certified medical coder/biller in doctor's offices, outpatient centers and ambulatory clinics.
